| The time in Morocco is akin to GMT. In comparison to France’s time zone, the time difference is 1 hour in winter and 2 hours in summer. All year long, good sunglasses and a hat will be your best allies against the sun. Like all of Morocco, Marrakech is a city of contrasts: hot in summer and cool in winter, with a striking discrepancy between day and night temperatures. This fact should be kept in mind while packing your clothes for the trip. If you plan to travel in the big South and go off-road, ask your pharmacist for advice on your «travel pharmacy kit».
A valid passport (less than 5 years) is required for visitors staying less than 90 days. No visas are necessary for visitors staying less than three months. Children under16 years of age may enter if they are on the passport of the person accompanying them. Children traveling alone must show parental consent for traveling abroad and an individual customs document. No vaccination is required to travel to Morocco.
