French Writer and Traveler René Euloge: his 1920s’ famous book « The Songs of Tassaout » reveals the rituals of the inhabitants of the High Atlas valleys through their songs.

Juan Goytisolo: born in 1931 to a rich family of Barcelona, Juan Goytisolo rose up very early on against a milieu in which he felt stifled. In Madrid, he discovered literature and communism. He moved to the ochre city in 1980.

Denise Masson: since half a century ago, Denise Masson is the guest of Marrakech where she lived on with the Arab-Islamic culture. After several years devoted to a social service and to the study of the Arab language, she dedicated herself to a patient research of the points of communion among the three monotheistic religions. She translated the Koran which was published by the "Bibliothèque de la Pléiade".

Grunts Verner Geerdts: German painter grunt Werner Geerdts (85 years) lived for 30 years in Marrakech in the company of his accomplice and friend Guan Goytisolo.

Alain Delon: the French actor is one of the enthusiasts of the ochre city; he also had a second home in Marrakech.

Charles Aznavour: the son of Armenian immigrants, Charles Aznavour has made it to the top solely on his own will power. He was born in Paris on May 22nd, 1924. He is considered as one of the pioneers of classical French songs. He is now one of the fans of the ochre city.

Fabrizo RUSPOLI the Arab House, one of the references in the medina of Marrakech, is in the property of the prince Fabrizio Ruspoli. Originally, the house was a restaurant in the forties.
